According to the official site for International Women's Day, the World Economic Forum's 2017 Global Gender Gap Report findings inform us that gender parity is well over 200 years away.
Clearly then, there hasn't been a better time to keep on striding and #Press[ing]forProgress. It seems like this slogan will be swiftly catching on, following it's predecessors including #TimesUp and #MeToo and will inspire women everywhere to participate in the crucial fight for gender parity.
Obviously this won't be like the flip of a switch, but it's awe-inspiring to know that women across the globe are taking action each and every moment -in both small and large ways - in order to advocate gender equality.
No more rumination or contemplation, now is the time to #PressforProgress, and the time to encourage colleagues, friends and classmates to join you in the march towards inclusivity.
